Halloween Printmaking at Cravings Media Open Studio

Come check out our Open Studio on October 18th, showcasing the art of printing-making and letterpress printing. Join us for a creative hands-on experience to print your own poster and Halloween cards. You have the option to use pre-carved stamps to compose your ghouly apple-skull card, or try your hand at a holographic bat on black card. You can also make a Halloween poster using vintage handset type. Stop by anytime between 2pm and 6pm.

What is Letterpress Printing?

Most people may not know that letterpress printing is a traditional method that involves pressing inked, raised surfaces against paper to create beautifully embossed designs and text. This age-old craft allows for rich textures and deep impressions that digital printing simply cannot replicate. Attendees will have the chance to learn and experience this process while printing their own piece of art.

All designs will be preset, you just have to pull the levers or stamp away. Come print cards for $5 each, posters for $10 each.
